In October 2024, we employed Water Management Solutions (‘WMS’) to challenge our water and sewage charges at Lomax Way.
WMS had notified us of significant overcharge at our site dating back to day one of our occupation. It put forward a proposal that Rijo42 would not incur any costs or be liable for any professional fees unless Water Plus agreed to a refund and to reduce future charges.
In April 2025, we received a five-figure rebate from Water Plus after it recalculated all water and sewage charges from day one of our occupation.
Prior to WMS, we had no suspicions that our charges were incorrect, and we would still have been overpaying had it not approached us.
Our experience with WMS was very positive. Their work did not impact upon our time or resources, and the only real effort on our part was to review our bank account for the impending BACS payment from Water Plus!
In short, we would certainly recommend you open dialogue with WMS should they notify you of a potential overcharge by your water company.
